Just a little over a year after his debut album, fast-rising Nigerian Music Act, Henry Adams, drops another EP, one he titled “Hustle and Vibes”
Henry Adams releases a new EP, “Hustle and Vibes”, sharing the story of his journey so far and where he hopes to be.
For over a decade, Henry Oluwaseyi Adams(Henry Adams), has evolved, and his evolution has seen him transform from a young boy who had music as a hobby and wanted to sing to any audience, into one of the fast-rising Nigerian Afrobeat stars, something that isn’t short of a tale of steady progress.
Henry started recording as far back as 2010, he founded a band while in secondary school, (Swag City Boys), and his stay in Ghana for his first degree saw Henry get his first professional record label deal. However, his contract ran out and he soon came back to Nigeria, where he is currently signed under Obafunshy Musical Records.
Henry is motivated by his own life, and his drive to bless and inspire people through his music. He once said, “Even when I can’t motivate myself, the love I see from my fans is enough motivation”. As a person, Henry had gotten his hands on many things but the music kept calling, a call too heavy he’s bent on answering to fulfillment. He currently runs a music label for kids, an avenue that functions as an extension of the legacy he hopes to live by and leave behind. He trains these young, talented children and helps them develop.
As a man driven and inspired by his own life and environment, his new EP talks about him, and what he would love his fans to know and practice, he tells his story in a dynamic way, much different from what we have seen, where he often tell the stories of others, this is very much personal.
“Hustle and Vibes” is a project that sees Henry challenge his fans to set their priorities accordingly, chase the money, and get the bag, before focusing on the vibes and the ladies. The EP preaches that self-sufficiency and self-reliance come before the fun aspect of living. It is a project dedicated to every hustler, everyone who wakes up and is on the grind.
As dedicated to his fans as he is, Henry hopes, that above all, his fans will continue to connect with him through his music, and his stories, and even as he hopes that his reach gets more international, he still hopes to stay true to what his fans would want him to, as he does it purely for them.
In the not-so-distant future, he hopes to be on the biggest possible stages, perform in front of his fans all around the globe, and feature the biggest of names. He is on the verge of that, as “Hustle and Vibes” sees him feature MAGNITO, JIPO, and MYCHAEL TUNES.
Hustle and Vibes was released on the 17th of November, 2023, and it is available on all digital platforms.
